At NELFT, our Corporate Support Services play an important part in supporting both clinical and non clinical services across the Trust. We can offer an exciting range of corporate positions including some of the following areas: IT, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Estates, Finance, and Health & Safety.

We will also offer the opportunity to gain professional qualifications in the majority of the corporate areas, enabling staff to develop and progress their career in NELFT.

Our Informatics team are instrumental in supporting staff with agile working and adjusting to new technologies to conduct their roles in various locations. They have undertaken huge projects including the Trustwide deployment of the full Microsoft Office365 Suite designed to help staff achieve more with innovative Office Apps, intelligent cloud services, and world-class security.

Human Resources

Our HR team play a huge role in supporting staff throughout their career at NELFT and beyond, with our organisational development team responsible for upskilling staff and providing industry leading training opportunities.

We engage and inform staff so they feel valued by the Trust and able to deliver the best care to our patients. We also ensure patients and the public are able to access information about Trust services and know how to share feedback with us to enable a two-way conversation. We support the Trust by influencing key stakeholders to position ourselves as the leading healthcare provider in a challenging health economy.

Estate service staff are responsible for looking after our multiple sites and the surrounding grounds, creating and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for our staff and patients.

Our Finance team are committed to developing young talent, offering apprenticeships and clear pathways of development. One of our employees began their NELFT career as a finance apprentice, and is now a reporting accountant, with line manager responsibilities to an apprentice.

Health & Safety

The Health & Safety Team provide the Trust with Health & Safety advice including legal aspects and best practice to all levels of the organisation. The team also produce and review Health & Safety Policies and procedures, and advise on compliance.
