Speech & Language Therapist – Mainstream Schools & Community

You will need to demonstrate the following requirements for the post:

• Clinical skills in paediatric speech & language therapy
• The ability to work as an effective team member with excellent interpersonal skills
• Pre/post registration experience with a paediatric caseload

The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Providing a high standard Speech & Language Therapy service to children referred to the service
• Performing speech and language therapy assessment of patients with diverse presentations and varying conditions, to provide a clinical diagnosis and develop and deliver appropriate interventions

The successful candidate may be a newly qualified, or more experienced Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist who has sound knowledge of working with children and their families. Previous knowledge and experience of placement/working with a paediatric caseload would be advantageous. You will have excellent communication skills & enjoy working as part of a team.
