Occupational Therapist

Main duties:

1. Provide high quality Occupational Therapy clinical expertise and service.

2. Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments of service users.

3. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate Occupational Therapy treatments for specialist case load, in a variety of settings, as an autonomous practitioner.

4. Participate on the duty rota, screening  new referrals and carrying out urgent assessments under clinical guidance, acting within timelines to provide a safe response.

5. Feeding back outcomes of assessments and recommendations in clinical meetings and updating service users/families.

6. Provide specialist clinical advice to other team members on the suitability of various assessments and intervention methods where appropriate.
