Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician

North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) pharmacy team  is seeking a  Medicine Management Pharmacy Technicians Band 5 to join our innovative pharmacy team.

• The provision of a clinical and technical pharmacy service to all inpatient  with regards to ordering of medication, security and safe storage and cold chain maintenance of vaccines and refrigerated medicines
• Also support the community based clinics working with patients and the wider multidisciplinary team 
• Participating in the medicines reconciliation process on admission (checking, resolving and communicating issues related to reconciling medication), transcribing, Patient Own Drug checks, intervention monitoring (assessing and ensuring safety and legality of prescribing and administration), discharge planning (checking, resolving and communicating medication on discharge)
• Delivering education and training to staff across all services with regards to medicines management and completion of audits to ensure compliance with medicines policy and local standard operating procedures
