The role of Clinical Lead is to support the development and implementation of a range of group, individual and consultation interventions within the Thrive Framework which align with NICE guidance. This includes strategic and clinical leadership activities, such as working proactively with partners within the ICS geographies and provider collaboratives to ensure a joined-up approach to providing help and support to CYP with neurodevelopmental differences. It also includes the provision of supervision, consultation, training and joint working within the service to spread best practice and develop the clinical offer. You will have experience of supervising and managing others, you would also have a keen interest in developing innovative strategies to support young people and their families.
As well as holding a reduced case load, the Clinical Lead supports the locality teams to deliver therapeutic interventions and develop clinical competencies through supervision, teaching, and mentoring. Knowledge and experience of delivering interventions within child mental health is essential. Additional therapeutic skills and training such as CBT, SFBT, Family / Systemic, DBT and other therapeutic approaches is desirable.
